Welcome Wednesday 5/19/10

I thought I'd try this Link Party again this week. I'm still searching for a link party that I can do each week and spread the word about the diversity of my interests (crafts - counted cross-stitch, collecting postcards, reading, and genealogy).

Please let me know if you now of any general format Link Partys. Thanks for taking a look at my blogs.

Tombstone Tuesday - 5/18/10

This has nothing to do with my family, but I thought it would be perfect to share. This is actually a postcard from Poland that shows several cemeteries.

Hope you enjoy.

Welcome Wednesday

I thought I'd try this Link Party this week. I'm trying to find one that I can post to consistantly that will fit with what my intersted are - I've noticed that most are craft related and I'm not always up on my crafts (usually counted cross stitch).

I do read a lot and collect postcards and work on my genealogy (family history). Please let me know if you now of any general format Link Partys. Thanks for letting me try this one this week.

Spotlight Yourself

I've been working on my genealogy(family history)lately and have discovered some new relatives. I've also been helping my nephew with a "Pilgrim" project his earliest ancestor to come the the US. I hoping to use Elder Edmund Frost who came in 1636 from England. It would be his 10th great grandfather to try to explain to him, since he is only 8 (will be 9 on the 26th of this month).

Just wanted to let others know. I know it's not a crafty thing today, but it seemed like a great thing to share - hope you don't mine.
