I have been lucky enough to get some family history (Plaisted – Maternal Grandmother) passed down from a Great Aunt years ago that was working on her DAR membership application. I was in my early teens at the time and didn’t really know what genealogy was at the time. I’m not sure I know that much more 30 years later.

I have leaned to do research better. I’ve taken may seminars and classes through the years aoftn being the youngest one there. I do know now the earlier you start the better.
